چکیده
A 7-year-old boy presented to the neurosurgery clinic with neck pain. There was no history of surgery and trauma. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed cystic mass that contained internal septation and fluid-fluid levels at C3 level (Figs. 1 and 2). C3 vertebral body was destructed. Right vertebral artery was surrounded with cystic mass. The cystic mass was hyperintense on T2-weighted images and isohyperintense on T1-weighted images (Figs. 1 and 2). The cyst wall and internal septation were enhanced (Fig. 2). It was diagnosed as an aneurysmal bone cyst with imaging findings. An anterior cervical corpectomy, fusion and instrumentation, was performed. Diagnosis was confirmed with pathologic specimen. At the 6-month followup, the patient presented full recovery and no evidence of recurrence.
